BAM Makes Donation to Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities to Promote Occupation and Quality of Life for the Disabled

Mrs. Wipasiri Sangvacharakul, Assistant Chief Executive Officer, together with Mr. Sornchai Pichaiyuth and Mr. Niwat Pitaphai, Executives of Corporate Governance and Sustainability Promotion Department, Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Plc. (BAM), represented BAM to hand over a donation of 115,000 baht raised from auction of cherished items from BAM executives under the “Sharing of Cherished Items from Executives” activity to Prof. Wiriya Namsiripongpun, Honorary President, and Mrs. Manee Namsiripongpun, President, Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities, to support promotion of career development, uplifting of quality of life, and creation of equal opportunities for people with disabilities through various projects, e.g., Yimsoo Café, Vocational Training Centers, and Communication Center for the Hearing Impaired, empowering the disabled to be self-reliant, earn a living, and live proudly in the society. This activity clearly reflects BAM’s dedication to operating business alongside social responsibility, with emphasis on fostering greater opportunities and equality for the disadvantaged in the society on a sustainable basis.
